Special Interest Group (SIG) Chair

Elizabeth G’Sell, LMFT is the founder of Oceans Psychology specializing in mind-body connection, parenting, post-traumatic growth, sex therapy, women’s health, eating disorders, chronic pain, LGBTQ+, life transitions and relationships. She is a doctoral candidate in clinical sexology identifying as a life-long learner. For higher levels of mental health care beyond outpatient, Elizabeth is a clinical outreach representative at Discovery Behavioral Health serving the community to provide resources for intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization & residential treatment for mental health, eating disorders & substance misuse. In Elizabeth’s self care time, she enjoys traveling, learning about philosophy and cultures, dance, exploring nature and spending quality time with loved ones.

Special Events Chair

Emerald Aueyong, LPCC, LMFT is a dual-licensed sex and relationship therapist based in Pasadena, CA. In May 2026, she proudly announced the launch of her private practice, Intimate Relations Psychotherapy, where she specializes in interracial relationships, sexual trauma, desire discrepancy, and relationship ambivalence. In 2025, Emerald served on the SGV-CAMFT Board as Co-Facilitator of the 3000 Club and supported program coordination. Emerald now serves on the LA-CAMFT Board as Special Events Chair. Emerald finds fulfillment in hanging out with her husband and two cats (Snowball and Marshmallow), listening to music, exercising, and reading romance books (which is a new hobby).
